Working closely with Stormy Water Solutions, Travers Bushfire Ecology and WS&P engineers, the proposal considers existing historical dams, WSUD elements, retarding basin flood storage and water quality management issues within the site whilst adhering to strict requirements for watercourses from the Office of Water NSW. Whilst minor swales direct run-offs to existing and new wetlands, the challenge lays in minimisation of disturbance to the existing dams and minimisation of new wetland footprint to ensure maximal use of the land for burial with particular emphasis of safe and aesthetic integration of all WSUD and retarding elements into the landscape.
